SRMTA Young Composer Competition Winners 2020

Junbo Gao tied for second place in the CFMTA Student Composer Competition with his composition, Etude in A Minor (Lego Battles).This is in the Preparatory Level - 8 years and under, Class 1, composition for solo instrument. Junbo’s teacher is Rachel Xiao

YunEn (Ryan) Gu placed second in the CFMTA Student Composer Competition with his composition, Sonatina in D Minor.  This is in the Category A - 11 years and Under, Class 1, composition for solo instrument. YunEn’s teacher is Kathleen Solose.

Markus Bitner received Honourable Mention 4 with his composition, The Fortress of Magnama. This is in the Category B 1 - 15 years and under, Class 1, composition for solo instrument. Markus’s teacher is Heather Waldner.
