We know this year has been challenging, both professionally and personally. As we see Saskatchewan making progress, we want to offer suggestions on what measures you might take in your private studios to help keep you and your students safe.
SRMTA’s recommendations are taken from Public Health Saskatchewan and Reopening the Province Saskatchewan's re-opening plan. For the most up-to-date directives, we suggest that you contact Public Health Saskatchewan and visit Saskatchewan’s reopening directly.

On June 10, 2020, the Province of Saskatchewan informed the provincial executive of the SRMTA that piano and string in-person lessons could now resume. On June 16, the Province of Saskatchewan informed us that one-on-one voice and wind/brass lessons can resume on June 22, 2020.

- If you are teaching in a more rural area and the internet is not as reliable, you may be able to use your cell phone's data to connect. Many providers now offer unlimited data but please check with them for any costs that may be incurred.
